SEIU-West Education Committee is pleased to sponsor up to four (4) members to attend Prairie School for Union Women (PSUW) from June 9-13, 2024. PSUW offers trade union women an intensive four days of learning and sharing in a supportive environment. The goals of the school are to develop women's personal and leadership skills and to build solidarity among women workers.

Each year, the quality of the applications makes this selection process difficult. The committee wants to thank everyone who applied in 2023 and encourage all interested and qualified to do so in 2024. First Nations Métis Inuit Scholarship
SEIU-West First Nations Métis Inuit Committee is pleased to offer yearly scholarships for members who are Status Indian, Non-Status Indian, Inuit or Métis who are in good standing (dues paying members) that are taking a class in a College, University or recognized Tech or Vocational Post-Secondary School for the year they are applying in.
Applications must be received by December 15th and include: proof of registration, receipt of payment and an essay on "How can the labour movement be an ally with First Nations, Metis and Inuit peoples?”

In order to ensure as many people benefit from this program as possible, if you have won an SEIU-West Scholarship within the past three years, you will not be considered.
