Skills for Social Change Swift Current – Hosted by Next Up Saskatchewan

We are offering two free workshops in Swift Current on the evening of January 12th and the day of January 13th. These events are free and everyone is welcome but we request that you RSVP at the links below.

Building Community Connections: A Gathering for People Committed to Social & Environmental Justice will take place on Friday, Jan 12 from 6:30 to 9:00 at First United Church – 223 3rd Ave. NE. This evening workshop will be a chance for building community based in The Work That Reconnects by Joanna Macy. People can RSVP here: http://www.nextup.ca/sc_community_connections

Storytelling Workshop: How to Speak About Social Change So People Will Listen will take place Saturday, Jan 13 from 10 am to 5:00 pm at Swift Current Branch Library at 411 Herbert St. E. Based in the work of Marshall Ganz, participants will learn three types of storytelling to help connect with people’s values. People can RSVP here: http://www.nextup.ca/sc_story
