For Immediate Release - August 26, 2020
Saskatoon – More SEIU-West members will be outside of health care facilities in Craik and Davidson on Wednesday August 26, 2020 to demonstrate their frustration with the pace of bargaining and the Saskatchewan government’s refusal to negotiate a fair deal.
“Next to staying safe and healthy as they provide care to the people of Saskatchewan, settling this contract is the top concerns for our members who have been without a contract since 2017,” says Janice Platzke, Treasurer of SEIU-West. “Rural communities deserve to have access to quality health care services that are there when they need them.”
