Media Advisory: Home Care Health Care Providers are #DoneWaiting
Saskatoon – SEIU-West members who work in home care will be demonstrating outside of Idylwyld Centre in Saskatoon September 21, 2020 to show their continued frustration with stalled SAHO bargaining and the Saskatchewan government’s refusal to negotiate a fair deal.
“Our members are fed up with this government’s dismissal of their needs; we know that their clients and families value their work. Why does our government not recognize the worth of public home care service to the people of Saskatchewan?,” says Barbara Cape, President of SEIU-West. “We ask the public to support our calls for added investment in our public provincial health care system.”
