2023 Lobby Day for Community-Based Organizations
On November 6, 2023, members from Community-Based Organizations around Saskatchewan met in Regina for a lobby day to ask the government to do more for CBO workers.
Blair is a member of the facilities team at his urban hospital. He works as a plumber where he maintains, installs and repairs equipment with a focus on plumbing, heating, cooling and all medical gas equipment. Blair is someone who works behind the scenes to ensure that the hospital is running efficiently and that patient safety is always at its highest level.
Blair has been a dedicated employee of the Saskatchewan Health Authority for seven years, with a total of 14 years experience as a plumber.
He looks forward to the day when we don't need to wear masks at work anymore, as it's difficult to breathe while doing physical labour.
Blair, we know the hard work you and your team put in for us to have functional hospitals. We can't thank you enough for your hard work and attention to detail in ensuring a safe environment for our patients!
