Today, November 6, is CBO Worker Appreciation Day. Please join us in recognizing and celebrating the hard work and dedication of these members!
Unreliable and complex, year-to-year government funding makes the Community-Based Organization (CBO) sector a particularly challenging one, but these members are an integral part of ensuring the health, safety, and function of the Saskatchewan population.
CBO workers provide vital services and support in and for child care, disability and social support, shelter programs, mental health and addictions, suicide prevention and intervention, vocational training, and so much more.
We can't say enough good things about these workers and we're sharing some of the words of appreciation that our Unit Executive members had for their co-workers in the sector.
They are awesome!
