Greetings Sisters and Brothers:
On December 11-12 your SEIU-West Bargaining Committee held Ratification Votes in the communities of Shaunavon, Val Marie, Vangaurd and Swift Current. Your committee is pleased to announce that the membership voted overwhelmingly in favour of the agreement presented to the membership.
We would like to thank the membership for attending the Ratification Vote meetings, and thank the members of the Committee for the work that it took to get this deal done.
The employer has committed to having the signing bonus paid out on December 21 2018.
New Collective Agreements will be delivered to your units early in the New Year.
