September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This day is intended to honour the survivors of residential schools, their families, and their communities. This day is meant to reflect on the history and legacy of residential schools. It is also known as Orange Shirt Day, a movement that recognizes the colonial history of residential schools.

The SEIU-West First Nations, Métis and Inuit Committee (FNMIC) welcomes you to reflect on what TRC means to you in in our contest.

Enter your thoughts to win a book of your choice (from the list provided) and an orange mug from the SEIU-West FNMIC by simply filling out this form by September 23rd, 2025

The winner will be contacted after the deadline. You must be an SEIU-West member to enter.
