Show you support a fair collective agreement for health care providers!
Between 11 am and 1:30 pm on August 12, 2020, SEIU-West members will be demonstrating that they are #DoneWaiting for a fair collective agreement!
We will be updating the website based on the times selected by site captains for each of the locations. However you should note that you're not required to sign up for the full time period. We will gladly accept your participation for any portion of time you are able to show up.
After over 1,000 days of negotiating, the government of Saskatchewan continues to push vital SEIU-West health care workers to accept a wage mandate with ZEROES, while refusing to ensure safe staffing levels in health care.
Without a contract, recruitment is nearly impossible and understaffing just keeps getting worse.
Can’t wait for August 12 and want to do something now?
Send a message to Health Minister Jim Reiter through our BeFairToThoseWhoCare.ca campaign page.
The government either doesn’t understand or doesn’t care that SEIU-West health care workers deserve a wage increase and that conditions in Saskatchewan long-term care homes, hospitals, and home care must be improved.
Fill out the information below to RSVP your time slot. The site captain (Debbie Dueck) assigned to this location will be in contact with you prior to the event.
NOTE: Masks are mandatory, physical distancing will be required. A limited number of disposable masks and hand sanitizer will be available through the site captains. As per the public health order, a maximum of 30 people can attend each permitted area. |
