Virtual Townhall Meeting Rescheduled

Greetings Sisters and Brothers,
Your Extendicare Bargaining Committee has met with the Employer and has reached a memorandum of settlement.
The Bargaining Committee met with the Employer on December 7 and 8. The Union and Employer committees exchanged proposal packages and we met several times over the two days to discuss our proposals and present counter offers. After multiple rounds of negotiations we were able to reach a tentative agreement that we are prepared to share with the membership.
Your bargaining committee will be setting up virtual membership meetings in the near future for sharing and discussion followed by electronic voting on the tentative agreement.
We will be sending out further information about the meetings very soon. Please keep an eye out for posts on our website and Facebook pages, and check your email as well.
