The Annual Saskatchewan Federation of Labour (SFL) Summer Camp will be held on August 9 -15 at Shekinah Retreat Centre, near Waldheim.
The Festival of Trees is a beloved tradition for families in Saskatoon. Thousands of people visit the Western Development Museum every year and are delighted by collections of beautifully decorated trees, wreaths, gingerbread houses, and more.
As is our very own tradition, we are holding a contest to see who the lucky SEIU-West Tree Decorating Team will be! This is a wonderful way to spread holiday cheer, and support a great cause! Funds raised by the festival support the Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation.
If your team wins, you’ll all be invited to join the decorating day at the Western Development Museum on November 23 helping to make our union’s tree become a reality! Tree and decorations will be provided. All your lost wages and expenses will be covered by SEIU-West!
Who can enter?
SEIU-West members who create a team of 2-4 people, working within the same unit or facility.
How to enter?
As a team, answer the following questions:
- Why does your team think SEIU-West is the best union in Saskatchewan?
- How does your team build solidarity and Purple Pride at your workplace?

Deadline?
The deadline to enter is November 8, 2023.

The winning team will not only get to decorate the tree, but they’ll also have a chance to win the SEIU-West decorated tree that will be on display at the Festival of Trees to showcase at their workplace!
