First Nations, Métis and Inuit Committee (FNMIC) represented SEIU-West at the Saskatoon Pow Wos on September 28th-30th, 2025.

I was fortunate to attend the Truth and Reconciliation Pow Wow at Sasktel Centre together as a committee. It was great being able to talk with people stopping in and checking out what we had to offer. We were able to take turns at the table and take in the Pow Wow. From the vendors to the drumming, dancing and regalia, this was a great experience. A couple of things I wish was offered was traditional foods and being able to watch the pow wow from the concourse. I feel a lot of the vendors missed out because of that.
