This year we celebrate health care providers across Saskatchewan during the week of October 26 to November 1, 2025.
It’s no secret that our members working in health care have had a difficult time managing their workload and dealing with issues outside their control--like a new payroll and scheduling system that is wreaking havoc on their work life, and the ongoing aftershocks of the global COVID pandemic.
As our members take time to celebrate with each other this week while continuing to provide the best care possible to the people of Saskatchewan, we thought we’d share some of the words of appreciation that our Unit Executive members shared with us about their co-workers.
It takes a special kind of person to care for someone else and that person is you. I see you and I admire your hard work and dedication to towards making a difference in the lives of people every day.
- Cheryl
I hope that our members realize how important they truly are. Some days it may not seem like that. But you mean more than you know to our residents and family.
- Sydney
Your service and dedication to our residents and each other has not gone unnoticed. The Families and the community appreciate you all!!!
- Terry Lynne
Keep up the good fight! We do a job that most cannot. Remember how valuable you are! Because, you are!
- Darlene
I appreciate You.
- Dwaine
You all matter, whether an ESLW, FSW, LPN, or a CCA your work matters. We are all on an equal playing field with no one more important than the next. Let's continue working together as a team continuing to deliver next level care to our residents/clients.
- Reigan
You matter! And we are in this together!
- Stephanie
Just push through and push your governments. You're in charge of making your government, at all levels to make 'em do the work they are elected to do. My inspiring words are inspiring people to get up and help change their own futures.
- Tatyana
Your hard work is greatly appreciated and remember you are not alone. You have many brothers and sisters supporting you, always.
- Michele
Not all angels have wings…some have scrubs.
- Jessica
They may forget your name, but they won’t forget the way you made them feel.
- Katherine
Know you are appreciated and your hard work and kindness is seen.
- Linda
We would not be here if we didn't work as a team so keep up the good work!
- Damara
You are the most caring people who truly want the best and advocate for the residents.
- Kevin
Let’s support one another and work as a team no matter how short or tired everyone is.
- Leona
Thank you for all you do. We can’t wait to see how you celebrate each other!
