The honour of your company is requested at a luncheon reception immediately following the funeral service on Tuesday, August 21st from 12:00-12:45pm at the picnic shelter in Kinsmen Park, Saskatoon.
Over the past several years, we have seen a rapid and steady decline of our public services in Saskatchewan and across borders. As young workers, we mourn the loss of valued public transit system and social services that support people in need, such as rental housing supplements. For those who provide our valued public services, we understand the challenges have increased without adequate resources such as safe staffing levels as a consequence of funding cuts.
The selling of our public services has affected health care laundry services, MRI scans, food in our prisons, and multiple liquor stores – our shared losses could go on and on.
It is in our public services’ loving memory that we gather on August 21st – to mourn, and to come together to demand better for our beloved communities.
