"I love helping vulnerable people in need to feel their very best" - Kelsey.
Kelsey is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at St. Paul’s Hospital. She has her LPN diploma, TLR, CPR, Peritoneal Dialysis Training, Smart Pump, WAVE, PICC/CVL certifications in order to do her job.
Kelsey loves helping vulnerable people in need to feel their very best, and enjoys making a difference in the lives of those in need. She loves making people smile.
A memorable moment for Kelsey was when there was a patient in hospital who was missing his 60th wedding anniversary with his wife. She found out their favourite food, wedding song and arranged a romantic dinner on the night of their anniversary with their song in the background. The couple held hands and had what would be their last anniversary dinner together.
Her daily tasks are administering medications, processing orders, doing assessments, taking vital signs, prepping patients for tests/procedures, monitoring acute changes in health and advocating for patients families.
Thank you Kelsey, and all LPNs for the care you provide to patients!
