Did you know per student funding, adjusted for inflation, has declined significantly since the 2012-2013 budget? According to Statistics Canada, Saskatchewan ranked second in the country for per student provincial spending in 2012-2013, we now rank eighth in the country.
A crumbling education system doesn't only impact people working in education—it impacts us all. Our children and the very future of our province are at risk.
We encourage everyone to join SEIU-West, the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation, the Saskatchewan Federation of Labour, and more at the Legislative Building in Regina on April 29 to Make Noise for Public Education.
