For Immediate Release, January 15, 2021
Saskatoon – Today SEIU-West members will complete their vote on the proposed Tentative Agreement (TA) reached with the Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations (SAHO) in late November 2020 and will share the results on Monday January 18.
“We have put a great deal of effort into sharing the details of the TA and answering member questions. It will be interesting to see how our members feel about the offer,” says Barbara Cape, President of SEIU-West. “Ratification votes like these deliver clear messages about the will of the membership and we will take our members’ direction.”
SEIU-West members working for the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) have been working without a contract for over three and a half years.
