July 14 is International Non-Binary People's Day and the SEIU-West Gender and Sexual Diversity Committee is recognizing this day with a contest!

This day was first celebrated in 2012 and the date was chosen for being precisely in the middle of International Women's Day and International Men's Day. Non-binary people do not always identify as exactly in the middle of a woman and a man, but we know that gender exists on a spectrum. Along that spectrum, there are a number of different ways in which people identify and express their gender.

SEIU-West members are invited to learn about the various gender identities by completing this crossword puzzle, which includes a number of different words relating to gender and non-binary people.

To enter this contest, print and complete the crossword puzzle. Send your completed crossword puzzle to the GSDC staff support at [email protected]. This contest is open to SEIU-West members, the winner will be selected by random draw of submitted entries, contest closes Tuesday July 21 at noon. Winner will be notified by email and the prize will be available for pick up at one of our three offices.
