Friday, June 3

Regina Pride Flag Raising Ceremony | 9 am | Regina City Hall
June 3-12 is officially proclaimed as "Gender and Sexual Diversity Pride Week" by the City of Regina. Join us in honouring this annual acknowledgement as we raise the Pride Flag at City Hall. This ceremony will include greetings from local 2SLGBTQIA+ organizations and leaders.

Raymore High School GSA LGBBQ+ Meet & Greet | 12:15 - 2 pm | Raymore High School
Join Raymore High School GSA's meet and greet BBQ. We're serving up hot dogs and pop and providing an opportunity to learn about our GSA. Learn more about LGBTQ+ issues and gain awareness of our school community.

Saturday, June 4

Queer Local Market | 9 am - 1pm
Visit the Queer Local Market and explore artists, artisans, community groups, and service organizations, alongside our friends at the Regina Farmers' Market. Discover all that Regina's 2SLGBTQIA+ communities have to offer. Buy from local artists and artisans, learn from service organizations, and get involved with the community.

Discover the National Film Board of Canada's selection of LGBTQ2+ animated films and documentaries

Film Screening: Tongues Untied: Giving a Voice to Black Gay Men | 7 pm | Regina Public Library - Film Theatre
Marton Riggs' essay film TONGUES UNTIED gives voice to communities of Black gay men, presenting their cultures and perspectives on the world as they confront racism, homophobia, and marginalization. It broke new artistic ground by mixing poetry, music, performance, and Riggs' autobiographical revelations.

Drag Roulette | 9 pm | Q Nightclub & Lounge
Kick off your Pride Week with this unique style of drag show we like to call Drag Roulette. We are teaming up with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, the remarkable Breadbasket Sisters, and we will see how well the College of Monarchs and Sisters know this mix of gay anthems and classic drag songs. There will also be a silent auction to help0 us raise money for charities and the RSAR Crystal Wheat Sheaf Bursary Fund.

Pride/Reconciling in Christ Sunday Worship | 9:30 am | Bread of Life Lutheran Church in the Living Spirit Centre
A celebration of inclusiveness, welcome, and pride for people of faith recognizing Bread of Life's commitment as a "Reconciling in Christ" church.

Queer Art Night | 1 - 4 pm | UR Pride Centre, SPACE for Saskatchewan Queer & Trans Youth (2139 Albert St.)
Queer Art Night is designed for individuals to explore self-expression through a creative medium. Activities may include zine making, storytelling, collage making on canvas, creating your ideal "Queer Safe Space", painting plant pots, and more.

Pride "Tea" Social | 1 - 5 pm | The Hotel Saskatchewan
Join Queen City Pride at The Hotel Saskatchewan for a "tea" social. As a nod to past community traditions, this event will include more than just tea and cake on the menu. Enjoy each other's company while learning more about how Regina's 2SLGBTQIA+ community found ways to gather and socialize with each other during a tie when it wasn't so easy to do so.

Nuit Raunch | 7:30 pm | The Artesian
Nuit Raunch is a one-night curated screening of short, inclusive adult film from around the world, organized by queer filmmaker Kate Sinclaire. Kate will be on hand for film introductions and a Q&A after the screening.
Doors open at 7:30, show at 8. Dance party with DJ Hendrika to follow. Tickets $20 in advance at www.nuitraunch.com/ * Note: event is 19+

BOP Regina Picnic | 6 - 9 pm | Candy Cane Park
BOP Picnic is a social gathering for people of all ages, genders, and identities with a special focus on bisexual, omnisexual, and pansexual. This is a family-friendly event. Bring a blanket, chair, goodies, and fries to enjoy this time together.

Pride Art Build with Cat Haines | 7 - 8:30 pm | Regina Public Library - Sherwood Village Branch
Join activist and artist Cat Haines and learn about the history of activist art builds and pride art before diving into making your own queer, trans, or allied sign, patch, or wearable for this year's Pride Parade.
Materials provided, please feel free to bring along additional materials for a more personalized creation (ie: tshirt, hat, etc._. Recommended materials include: fabric, safety pins, paintbrushes, paint, fabric paint medium, sharpies, Bristol board, letter stencils, and scissors.
This is a free, all ages event.

2STQBIPOC Chat 2: Open Roundtable Discussion | 7 -  9 pm | Venue TBD
Join us for an open, roundtable-style conversation as we discuss topics and issues tat relate to being Two-Spirit/Trans/Queer, and Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour. We will be joined by a panel of local 2SQTBIPOC activists and leaders to help guide the conversation, but the floor is open. Our panellists/conversation-helpers are Jordy Ironstar, Fritz Pino, and Dan Shier. This event is an intentional space being created for 2STQBIPOC folk to engage inter and intra-communally. Persons who are not 2STQBIPOC are not dissuaded from attending, however, we request that you remain aware of space consumption.

Prep for Pride: Tie-Dye, Posters, & Pins | 4 - 7 pm | Uof R Pride's SPACE for Saskatchewan Queer & Trans Youth (2139 Albert St.)
Come down to UR Pride's SPACE to make your very own tie-dye shirts, posters, and pins for Pride 2022! Materials will be provided.
Please note: this event is open tot he public from 4-7 pm and exclusive to our Group Z and Youth Group members from 7-9 pm.

Open Mic Night | 7 - 10 pm | Q Nightclub & Lounge
Do you sing? Tell jokes? Storytell? Have some poetry? Or anything else you can think of! This is a safe space for one and all to have a mic and an audience present.

Day of Reclamation - Pancake Breakfast at the Lazy Owl | 10 am - noon | The Lazy Owl Bar
The Lazy Owl, the University of Regina campus bar and restaurant, has historically been a space for student activism and organizing. URSU will be hosting a pancake breakfast in partnership with queer students and allies on campus as a day of reclaiming this space towards this history and to educate and connect queer students, accomplices, and allies from all parts of the university and the greater Regina community.
This is a free event.

Sexual Health Friday #StickittoStigmaPanel | noon - 2 pm | The Lazy Owl Bar
The conversation around STIs involves acknowledging increasing rates of transmission in the prairie provinces, while also being mindful of not further perpetuating the stigma associated with having an STI. It also requires looking beyond the conversation around personal responsibility and looking at systemic reasons  that explain the rates of STI transmission and acquisition. Join us for a panel conversation where we'll explore sexual health, STIs, stigma, personal and systemic responsibility through a queer lens.

Barrier Bashing Breakdown: Drag Show & Mini Rave | 5 pm - midnight | The Lazy Owl Bar
Barrier Bashing Breakdown is one part drag show and one part dance where attendees will enjoy LIVE performances from local drag performers and 2SLGBTQIAP+ DJs.
This is a dry/sober event for people ages 16+

Regina Word Up Open Mic Pride Stage ft. Elise Pallagi | 7 - 9 pm | The Artesian
Our annual pressure-free Pride Stage is an opportunity to share your writing with an appreciative crowd. For this event, we prioritize and centre queer expression: we encourage sharing queer content or any content for folks who identify as 2SLGBTQ+ in 5-minute spots. Featuring Treat 6-based spoken word poet and multi-disciplinary performance artist, Elise Pallagi.

Black Party | 9 pm - 2 am | The Lot
Put on your best black and get on down to the alternative queer pride party. This year we are continuing our new tradition. We started this event for those who want to wear black during Pride and be a part of something a little different! You will not be disappointed as we always offer the best Queer Party in the city and a safe place for you to drink, dance, and flirt. Come dance the night away with local queer DJs, and our hosts Flo Mingo, Asher, and Mindy Tucker!

Annual Tight, White, and Bright Party | 10 pm - 2 am | Q Nightclub & Lounge
It's our annual Friday night of pride event! We sell out every single  year, so don't miss it. Dance under the glow of the blacklights and have a good time.

Saturday, June 11

Pride Parade - 12 noon
The annual Queen City Pride Parade is our signature event that fills Regina with rainbows, smiles, and pride. The pride parade has since grown to become one of Regina's most colourful and recognized parades.
This year's parade will travel from our usual staging area on 13th Avenue (near GLCR/Q Nightclub) and travel to the Saskatchewan Legislative Building where it will end at Wascana Park, at the new grounds for OUT In the Park. The parade will also be broadcast live on AccessNow TV.

OUT in the Park | 1 - 11 pm | Queen Elizabeth II Gardens - West Lawn (2407 Legislative Drive)
Join us after the pride parade at our new spot just north of the Saskatchewan Legislative Building. Plus, you won't want to miss our "After Dark" performances--that's right, OUT in the Park will run until 11 pm!
This year's OUT in the Park will feature two stages with live performances, our Pride Marketplace, food trucks, a kids' area, and beer gardens!

Pride Communion Worship | 2 - 3 pm | Queen Elizabeth II Gardens - West Lawn (2407 Legislative Drive)
Join us for a time of worship and celebrate that God loves you as you are. This is an ecumenical communion service in the park following the pride parade. Hosted by the United and Lutheran Churches in Regina.

Pride After Party | 10 pm - 2 am | Q Nightclub & Lounge
As the clock strikes midnight, the Pride After Party is where you can dance and close out the pride weekend. Leave your glass slippers behind for this party.
Cost is $5 for members, $10 for non-members (includes membership fee!). *Note: this event is 19+

Talk on Honesty & Inclusion: What they mean to one polyamorous family | 10:30 am - noon | Unitarian Fellowship of Regina
Please join the Unitarian Fellowship of Regina along with guest speaker Karen Dunk-Green as they navigate what honesty and inclusion mean to a polyamorous family.

Pride Sunday Church Service| 11 am - noon | Christ Lutheran Church
The Pride Sunday Church Service at Christ Lutheran Church has an intentional focus on inclusion of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
Through music, Bible readings, prayers, and a reflection on God's Word, we are reminded that God has created all people in God's image and that all people are beloved children of God.

Queen City Connect Speed Dating: LADIES seeking LADIES Ages 25-40 | 7 - 10 pm | Q Nightclub & Lounge
Happy Pride and say goodbye to swiping! QCC is very excited to announce our first speed dating event for ladies seeking ladies. Your ticket gets you into the event and includes an alcoholic beverage OR bottomless pop/coffee.
We start with an ice breaker and then the dates begin in Q's private event room. When the timer goes off, you're onto your next date! In between each speed date, you will fill out your match card and mutual match information will be released in the following days, via email.
Minimum sign up is 10 people and maximum is 30. There will also be a waitlist available if tickets sell out for cancellations (and future events!). In the event of low registration numbers, event cancellation and full refunds will occur.
