The festival website shares information about all of the performers, and the theme which encourages greater engagement with environmental issues including the climate emergency, sustainability and our interdependence with the natural world, emerging dialogues in the community, and a collaboration with Indigenous communities.
We are thrilled to give away three prize packages! Each prize package consists of four single night tickets, a copy of the new book The End of This World Climate Justice in So-Called Canada, and a cozy blanket to enjoy the festival on! We have one package for each night of the festival.
Considering the theme of the festival, we want to know how you practice environmental sustainability. All you have to do to be entered to win a prize package is email us at [email protected] and tell us the steps you take in your life to practice environmental sustainability. Maybe you cycle to work once a week, only buy secondhand clothing, or grow and preserve some of your food. Whatever it is, we want to hear about it!
Congratulations to Sara, Jen and Angela! These members are the lucky winners of this contest - we hope you have a wonderful time at the festival!
The fine print: Contest closes at 5pm on August 1, winners will be drawn at random and notified by email. This contest is open to SEIU-West members and is not affiliated with any social media platform.
