Our Quilt Raffle was so popular last year (raising almost $2,000 for the Saskatoon Council on Aging (SCOA) that we're doing it again!
As the Retiree Committee, it's our goal to assist all SEIU-West members in living a well-rounded life post-retirement. With that in mind, the Committee has chosen to partner with SCOA again this year to raffle a quilt! The quilt has been, once again, graciously donated by Lorraine Pollock, member of the SEIU-West Retiree Committee. Last year's bear paw quilt was lap-sized, but this year, we've upped the ante and it's a queen size quilt!
The Committee decided to continue to partner with SCOA for the raffle because of the work SCOA does to raise awareness for positive lifestyle initiatives for the older adults in our communities.
Tickets are $5.00 each and will be drawn at SCOA's Spotlight on Seniors event on October 7.
