Shelly Banks served as SEIU-West Vice President from 2008-2015. Her invaluable and outstanding contributions have made a significant and lasting impact on members and our union.
The next round of collective bargaining with the Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations (SAHO) and Extendicare Canada Inc. (ECI) will begin in the coming months and we are looking for SEIU-West members to make up our bargaining committee.
If you are an SEIU-West member who currently works for the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) in one of the former Cypress, Five Hills, Heartland, or Saskatoon Health Regions or for Extendicare (Elmview, Moose Jaw, Parkside, Preston, or Sunset) and are interested in being a part of this round of negotiations, fill out the online form here or download the printable PDF file form here and submit it by Friday July 8, 2022.
Please note that we are looking for a variety of members to represent the breadth and depth of our membership on the committee. Your commitment may include long variable hours, often overnight, and sometimes out of town. You must be committed to the bargaining process which can be longer than a year.
