The SEIU-West Gender and Sexual Diversity Committee is once again proud to march in the Saskatoon Pride Parade, taking place on Sunday June 22. SEIU-West members are welcome to join the committee and walk in the parade under Saskatoon Pride theme of Pride Not Prejudice.
The parade will begin at 12:00 noon and we are asking members who wish to walk in the parade to meet the committee at 11:00am. Staging will take place on 5th Avenue North between 22nd Street and 24th. SEIU-West is assigned to staging location 9F, which is planned to be on 5th Avenue between 22nd Street and 23rd Street. Plan to carpool, use public transit, walk, or cycle, as parking may be a challenge!
Please dress for the weather, as the parade will take place rain or shine! Wear comfortable shoes for walking, and be prepared to be outside for approximately 2+ hours.
