2nd day of Christmas – Private MRIs
While Canada Health Accord says that health care must be publicly funded and publicly administered, our Provincial Government has decided to allow private, for profit MRI clinics. This allows the wealthy to jump the line, rather than investing in more front line workers and MRI units. It also lends to reduced access to public services as the private for-profit operators poach MRI Techs from the public system.
