The three provider unions, SEIU-West, SGEU and CUPE met on October15 and 16 in Prince Albert. We discussed our monetary proposals and have put together a proposal package we will be presenting to SAHO next week. While we can’t disclose what is in the proposal, we have heard our members loud and clear. You have told us from the beginning that we are losing health care workers. We are also not attracting new health care workers due to the lack of meaningful compensation for your work. This employer needs to make health care a priority.
