Sisters, Brothers, and Friends,
Your SEIU-West Bargaining Committee, as well as the bargaining committees of SGEU and CUPE, met at the SEIU-West Saskatoon office February 3-6, 2026 to bargain outstanding individual table items with SAHO.
In advance of meeting, your Bargaining Committee worked diligently through the agreed-on agenda items, developing responses to 9 SAHO proposals. We presented our responses on the morning of the first day of meetings and continued to counter the Employer’s goals of enhancing their ability to move you and/or your work and to undermine your ability to control your work life.
Meanwhile, SAHO failed to finish their homework and did not present their agreed-on agenda items.
The three unions are meeting on February 11 to discuss common issues and are scheduled to meet with the Employer on February 17-20.
Despite these frustrations, your Bargaining Committee will continue to work on your behalf to achieve a fair and equitable collective agreement.
