Our SEIU-West members who work as Occupational Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Assistants are invaluable to the success of improved health for patients, clients, and residents.
We’re proud to celebrate these front line heroes who help people expand their day-to-day activities by working to improve mobility and physical movements.
Therapy Assistants aid people through their rehabilitation so they can reach their fullest potential.
Their work helps improve the confidence and lives of those who they care for which makes them a fundamental part of the health care team and another amazing sub-group of front line hero team.

World AIDS Day, designated on December 1 every year since 1988, is an international day dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection and mourning those who have died of the disease. This day was conceived in August of 1987 by James W. Bunn and Thomas Netter.
