We stand in solidarity with Saskatchewan Union of Nurses and call on the immediate installation of a metal detector at St. Paul's Hospital, along with more security measures to ensure that patients, their families, and staff have confidence that when they are accessing care at a Saskatoon hospital, they are in a safe environment.
As per the Market Supplement process, the Medical Radiation Technologists and Medical Radiation Technologist - Specialty were reviewed by the Market Supplement Committee and it was recommended by the committee that a market supplement be implemented. This recommendation was reviewed by SAHO, the Employer and Union and the parties agreed to a Market Supplement being implemented.
The market supplement rates of pay will be increased as follows based on 2022 rates of pay:
- JJE #25 Medical Radiation Technologist will receive a market supplement of 4.0% applied to the base rate and the existing market adjustment value will be added on top.
- JJE #34 Medical Radiation Technologist - Specialty will receive a market supplement of 4.5%.

These changes are retroactive to the Market Supplement Review Committee Report Due Date: May 14, 2023. Any active employee who worked in these classifications between May 14, 2023 and the date of this agreement is eligible for retroactivity. Date of retro payment to be determined.
