The SEIU-West's Retiree Committee is hosting a virtual pre-retirement workshop!
Representatives from the Saskatchewan Union Retirees Federation (SURF) will be joining us virtually to present valuable pre-retirement information for you.
WHEN: Monday, Sept. 21 & Tuesday, Sept. 22 10:00 - 12:00, 12:30 - 2:30 both days!
WHERE: Online! Members will join virtually from wherever they're comfortable.
WHO CAN APPLY: All SEIU-West members in good standing are eligible to apply. However, due to the nature of the workshop, preference will be given to members nearing or considering retirement in the near future.
HOW TO APPLY: Your completed application form must be received on or before August 23, 2026.
NOTES:
- The workshop is eight total hours spread over two days, in two hour chunks with a half hour break between. The SEIU-West Retiree Committee will provide eight hours wage replacement/honoraria for attendees, as per SEIU-West policies.
- If you are scheduled to work those days, you may apply for union leave to attend.
- Attendees will need to complete some worksheets in preparation for the workshop. All workshop documents will be provided, by email, to successful applicants.
- Because this is a virtual workshop, you must have a stable internet connection and device to join the workshop.
