Greetings Sisters and Brothers:
The SEIU-West Bargaining Committee reached a first tentative agreement with the Employer on July 19, 2018. A ratification vote was held on July 25, 2018.
The turnout for the ratification vote was very strong. The message received in the ballot box was also very clear and very strong.
The membership has rejected the Employer’s offer.
Your Bargaining Committee will be meeting shortly to determine our next steps.
Your Committee will also be setting a date for a Unit meeting; the time and date will be set shortly. Watch your Union Bulletin Board for this information.
