What it was like to come to Canada: Zenaida

December 18 was International Migrants Day and to celebrate, Multicultural Mentorship Committee had a contest!

Zenaida shared her story with us here:

Zenaida is a Support Worker in a Community Based Organization (CBO) in Saskatoon.  She left the Philippines to come to Canada in 2007. She was inspired to come here because of her family. 

Her first impressions were that people were friendly and approachable, but the weather's extremely cold!

Her friends and family helped her to be able to adapt.
