Last year, SEIU created a survey for members about climate change and the impact on your lives.
The SEIU-West Education Department is pleased to invite members to apply for our two-day workshop. The course will take place at Wanuskewin Heritage Park, just outside Saskatoon.
We will hold two sessions: August 27 and 28 AND August 29 and 30, 2024.

Participants will learn:
- Indigenous Culture and History
- Colonialization
- Treaties
- Land claims and Land Encroachment
- Indian Act and Assimilation Policies
-
Truth and Reconciliation
SEIU-West will cover the costs of 25 participants per session. Expenses will be reimbursed to a maximum of two days' lost wages/honorarium. Lunch will be provided, and accommodations and mileage will be reimbursed according to our policies.
Be sure to apply by July 17th, 2024! After the application deadline, those who are selected to attend will be sent a confirmation with more details about the event.
