The SEIU-West Multicultural Mentorship Committee works with several community groups that have enriched Canada by advocating for, bridging, educating and celebrating diversity. They are really excited to share with you some information about The People Bridge Advocacy. We are impressed with the great work this group is doing to connect and empower culturally diverse communities and be the bridge between our First Nations, Métis and Inuit Peoples and Newcomers.
Their Vision:
To interconnect Canadian communities within the culturally diverse greater national community, striving for social and cultural integration, better economic opportunities, political and civic engagement, and a more equitable and just society.
Their Mission:
To inspire, guide, and mentor newcomer and ethno-cultural groups, and collaboratively strengthen our collective capacity to engage leaders and communities in ways that enables them to thrive together in a fast-changing, increasingly diverse society.
You can find them on Facebook or Instagram.

On September 23rd, The People Bridge Advocacy is hosting an event to connect First Nations, Métis and Inuit and ethnocultural folks to understand the trauma and to be a part of the 94 calls to action contained in the Truth and Reconcilliation Commission of Canada's Calls to Action. We hope you can join us!
