"The work we do brings meaning to my life" - Jackie.
Jackie obtained a degree in Psychology with Honours, as well as her Youth Care Worker diploma. She continues to achieve various continuing learning opportunities in order to provide her clients with the best service possible.
As an Addictions Counsellor, she educates her clients about substance abuse and the steps necessary to make positive change in their lives. Her goal is to assist them, and in doing so, to keep Saskatchewan roads and highways safe. Jackie also conducts one-on-one counselling in order to work through her clients’ underlying issues.
Jackie has memorable moments each day at work – after group work ends, clients complete evaluations. When she reads those and sees her clients’ comments on how she has changed their lives for the better, she recognizes the true value of her work.
