For Immediate Release - September 2, 2020
Moose Jaw – Another group of SEIU-West members will be outside of health care facilities in Moose Jaw on Wednesday September 2, 2020 demonstrating their frustration with the pace of bargaining and the Saskatchewan government’s refusal to negotiate a fair deal.
“Next to staying safe and healthy as they provide care to the people of Saskatchewan, negotiating this deal is the top concerns for our members who have been without a contract since 2017,” says Janice Platzke, Treasurer of SEIU-West. “All communities in Saskatchewan deserve to have access to quality health care services that are there when they need them.”
