Info Pickets

Info pickets provide an opportunity for SEIU-West members to send a message to their employer and to the general public, that bargaining needs to progress and SEIU-West members deserve a fair contract! This is not job action or a strike, attendance at an info picket is voluntary and takes place on unpaid time, such as a day off or during a break. In addition, it can't take place on the employer's property and we cannot interfere with the flow of people or traffic.

We have heard you loud and clear, enough is enough and you are ready for action. To request an info picket, please connect with your Unit Executive and complete this request form. You will want to consider date, time, and location, as well as a weather plan considering the cold winter weather and our hot summers. Each info picket needs a Picket Lead, who has additional duties in planning the event, as well as during the event. We will work with the Picket Lead to ensure they have the supplies needed, but a successful info picket is the result of you and your co-workers coming together to make your voices heard! You'll want to share the event widely at work and within your community.
