The SEIU-West Education Department is pleased to invite members to apply for our two-day Turtle Island Workshop. The course will take place at Wanuskewin Heritage Park, just outside of Saskatoon.
Locals from across Canada and the United States had their first ever Asian Pacific Islander (API) Summit in Toronto. SEIU-West sent two members to attend to participate in skill-building workshops focused on recruitment and organizing, and build connections, share strategies, and celebrate the richness of API heritage.

The SEIU-West Education Committee is pleased to sponsor up to 2 members to attend the Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist (CLXT) 2025 Annual Conference on October 18, 2025 at the Moose Jaw Temple Gardens Hotel and Spa.
Watching the events taking place in Los Angeles is alarming. What started as peaceful protests to immigration reform has turned into more than anyone imagined. On behalf of our SEIU siblings, we urge American policymakers at all levels of government, along with advocates and community leaders, to stand in solidarity with immigrants and oppose the mass separation of American families.
