The SEIU-West Retiree Committee is pleased to announce that we are back in action.
Our goal is to assist all SEIU-West members in living a well-rounded life post-retirement. With that in mind, the Committee has partnered with the Saskatoon Council on Aging (SCOA) for this raffle because we appreciate the way SCOA is raising awareness on positive lifestyle initiatives for the older adults in our communities.
Lorraine Pollock, member of the SEIU-West Retiree Committee, has graciously donated her time and the finished Grain Elevator Quilt for this year's raffle prize.

Recently, SEIU-West members attended Activist Training Camp. They learned how to create SMART goals and carry out their campaign. Their discussion led to the need to have the public on our side during negotiations for fair wage increases. They have created a campaign so members can tell the public something that you do that the public may not necessarily know or think about.

The SEIU-West Young Workers Committee is hosting a free pottery night in Saskatoon on Thursday, October 9th, 2025 at 6pm. We are looking for 15-18 members of any age to attend.
