September 30th is Orange Shirt Day and we are honoured to support this movement.
This is a day to honuor Indigenous children who were taken away to residential schools in Canada.
This day was also recently declared the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
The SEIU-West Education Department is pleased to invite SEIU-West members to apply for our two-day Cultural Diversity and Inclusion workshop.
The SEIU-West Young Workers Committee is hosting its first free paint night in Saskatoon on Friday, August 23rd, 2024 at 6pm. We are looking for 15-18 members of any age to attend. This will be a great opportunity to create some art, meet union members, and discuss issues of mental health and burnout among members of the workforce.
